It is particularly known for its Cabernet Sauvignon and also produces one of California's top-rated and most serious Sauvignon Blanc wines.There are 40 acres (16 hectares) of vines on the estate property, plus 52 acres (21 hectares) at the Rossi Estate on the Rutherford Bench. Frog's Leap also sources grapes from several leased plots and long-term contracted vineyards.All the vineyards owned by the estate and the partner growers have been farmed organically since the late 1980s, and many aspects of biodynamics are implemented.
