Widely credited as the ultimate benchmark and a modern catalyst for the Jura wine renaissance, Stéphane spearheaded the estate's transition to organic farming in 1999 and achieved full Demeter-certified biodynamic status by 2004 across their roughly 35 to 50 hectares of exceptionally diverse vineyard holdings. Operating with an obsessive parcel-and-soil-specific philosophy, the estate utilizes massale selection and meticulous, ultra-dense plantings (reaching up to 27,000 vines per hectare in select plots) to farm historic terroirs defined by Lias marls, Trias marls, and rocky Jurassic limestone. In the cellar, they practice a strictly non-interventionist craft featuring spontaneous fermentation with indigenous wild yeasts, zero chaptalization, and minimal sulfur additions, refusing commercial standardization. This masterclass approach yields an astonishing array of over 30 distinct cuvées—spanning both oxidative masterpieces like traditional Arbois Vin Jaune and Sous Voile Savagnins, pristine non-oxidative (ouillé) single-vineyard Chardonnays, and beautifully textured native reds from Poulsard and Trousseau—that comprehensively define the profound potential of Jura terroir.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"CaskCartel.com","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50366654251146,"sku":null,"price":199.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0050\/2395\/7103\/files\/71_b2184de1-ea9b-48e7-baf4-7cc0bf414926.webp?v=1791236328","url":"https:\/\/caskcartel.com\/es\/products\/2022-benedicte-stephane-tissot-arbois-rose-massale-chardonnay","provider":"CaskCartel.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
