The distillate Saison Rum Trinidad 7yo Triple Cask has matured in three different vessels, so as to achieve its full and interesting flavor. The name Triple Cask is reduced to first maturing in Trinidad, where the heat and humidity of the island helps to exempt concentrated aromas and to accelerate the maturation of former US ex-bourbon barrels. The matured distillate is then brought to France to continue to mature in old cognac barrels.
