Both settled in Manduria, acquired old vineyards there and started producing their own wines in 2001. Today the winery covers around 13 hectares and around 150,000 bottles are produced. The wines of the oenologist Lisa, who comes from Melbourne, and the Pugliese winemaker veteran Gaetano are powerful, opulent and, despite all their power, have a fascinating elegance and very individual character. The philosophy of the two is beautifully expressed in the two product lines. The two wines with the classic white label \"Old Wines Primitivo\" and \"La Signora\" represent the depth, complexity and longevity of the old bush wines. These old vines, some of which were over 75 years old, were threatened with destruction and are now protected species. The average yield per hectare here is a negligible 2.6 hectoliters. The colored labels identify modern, very expressive cuvées made from the Primitivo, Negroamaro and Malbek grape varieties. A white wine made from the Fiano grape variety rounds off the Morella range.
