A range of red and white wines are made from several appellations within the region. Julie Bott was born in the region, while Graeme Bott is from New Zealand. They met while working for Stephane Ogier, a producer in Côte Rôtie, and decided to create their own wine estate. Graeme also has experience working in the Hawke's Bay and Waiheke Island regions of New Zealand, plus the Canberra region of Australia. He regards Tim Kirk of Clonakilla as his winemaking mentor Together they planted Viognier and Syrah vines in granite and schist-based sites within the appellations of Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie and Saint-Joseph and in the commune Seyssuel. The latter lies to the north of Côte Rotie and Ampuis, on the other, eastern, bank of the river. The wines from here are currently classified as IGP Collines Rhodaniennes, though the area is expected to gain AOP status soon. The first three vintages were made in the garage of Julie and Graeme's home among the vineyards of Condrieu.
