Bushmills 1989 The Causeway Collection 32 Years Old

Following the immense success of the inaugural Causeway Collection in 2020, Bushmills has released a new series of these extremely rare and unique Irish single malts. Bushmills 32 Years Old The Causeway Collection is one of the oldest expressions ever released by the distillery. The triple distilled single malt, selected by La Maison du Whisky, was distilled on 19 April 1989 and matured in Port cask #6096 for 32 years. It was bottled in 2021 at a cask strength of 50.1%.

Nose: Complex nose with aromas of tropical fruits, beeswax, aromatic plants, red fruits and subtle spices.

Palate: The palate is lively with an abundance of fruits including mango, lemon, passion fruit, orange, peach and pear, as well as notes of orange blossom, heather honey, cinnamon and a hint of tobacco.

Finish: The finish is long and elegant with hints of chocolate, vanilla and verbena.

Bushmills is an Irish distillery that claims to be the world's oldest working whiskey distillery. Official records date back to 1608, when the region obtained its distilling license. Over 400 years later, whiskey is still made in Bushmills, thanks to the experience and craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation.
