Accordingly, a new dedicated winery is under construction as of 2023. The wines are now to be released to the market via the Place de Bordeaux to brokerage markets. There are 26 hectares (64 acres) of vineyard; the Jaboulet family have owned vines on the Hermitage slopes since 1919. The conversion to organic farming began soon after Frey took the reins, with certification achieved in 2016. The vines have been biodynamically farmed since 2018. This is made from Syrah from the most stony sections of the Méal, Bessard, Rocoules and Greffieux parcels. Vines are between 40 and 100 years old. The wine is prized for its silkiness, dark fruit characters and tight tannic structure.
