Whereas most English Sparkling Wines are made in the image of Champagne, this is something quite different. It's made from a blend of 75% bacchus and 25% chardonnay, and gets its bubbles from carbonation rather than bottle fermentation. This means that it majors on simple fresh fruit notes.
