Our vineyards are also blessed with gravelly volcanic soils which force the vine roots to reach deep into the earth to survive. Deep roots bring a gorgeous minerality into the fruit and the grapes produced are tiny and acutely concentrated. Frank Fredericks Estate’s main property is located on the east side of the valley. East of Yountville and just south of Atlas Peak.
