The original Le Macìe estate, the location of the main cellars, was established in 1973 and is the heart of the company. There are 42 hectares (104 acres) planted to Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and it is the home of the flagship Sergio Zingarelli Chianti Classico Gran Selezione cuvée. Riserva di Fizzano was added to the estate in 1984 and has 35 hectares (86 acres) under vine, plus the company's olive oil mill and hospitality facilities.
