In addition to the native Montepulciano and Trebbiano, Talamonti has also planted Pecorino and Merlot. The fruit is vinified in a range of different fermentation vats corresponding to the different vineyard parcels. After extensive trials, the red wines are aged in a mix of small and large barrels made from French, American, Austrian and Eastern European oak. The portfolio is headed by Kudos, a blend of Montepulciano and Merlot, and the Trabochetto Pecorino, both of which are classified as Colline Pescaresi IGT.
