Winters are cold, dropping below zero degrees. Summers are hot, with temperatures often exceeding 40 degrees. Soils in the area are very chalky, and generally have a great hydric capacity and a medium permeability, allowing the vineyards to survive in prolonged drought conditions. The Finca Bacara vineyards are certified Organic and situated at 900 metres above sea level. The wines are linked to the land, and to the commitment of developing them with minimum impact on the natural environment.
