Bernard-Bonin also has some plots also in neighboring Puligny-Montrachet. The estate, which produces only white wines almost exclusively from Chardonnay, was originally known as Michelot Mère et Fille but was taken over in 1998 by husband-and-wife team Nicolas Bernard and Véronique Bonin. The pair oversee seven hectares (17 acres) of vineyard, including plots in Meursault's Genevrères and Charmes premiers crus.
