Named after its former owners Claude and Nelly Pichard, the 12-hectare estate is managed day-to-day by winemaker Sylvain Potin, who maintains a strict, Demeter-certified biodynamic philosophy across ancient, low-yielding vines averaging 60 years of age. Situated in Ambillou-Château on a unique geological convergence of sandstone gravel and red flint (silex) over deep, moisture-regulating Tuffeau limestone, the vineyards are cultivated with microscopic yields kept under 30 hectoliters per hectare.
