Distilled in 2002 and aged on the ninth floor of Warehouse K for 12 years and 6 months, this expression experienced greater temperature variation and wood interaction than the lower-floor releases. The result is a darker, more intense bourbon with charred oak, toasted nuts, blackberry, chicory and rich caramel balanced by a dry, mature finish.

Buffalo Trace Experimental Collection 12 Year Old Floor 9 Bourbon Whiskey | 375ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich charred oak with toasted nuts, vanilla, tobacco, dried fruit and subtle dark chocolate.

Palate: Bold and mature, with toasted almonds and walnuts followed by blackberry, caramel and chicory.
