Both components began maturation in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels before receiving extended finishing in contrasting Ximénez-Spínola sherry hogsheads. The unpeated whisky was finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry, while the peated component spent more than three years in Medium Sherry casks, creating a rich balance between dark fruit sweetness and elegant peat smoke.
