After primary maturation in bourbon barrels, the whisky received extended secondary maturation in carefully selected Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons and hogsheads from Spain. The result is a deeply layered whisky filled with espresso, dark chocolate, forest fruits and spiced plums, supported by rich honey, treacle and dried-fruit sweetness.
