Made with a traditional high-corn mash bill, it develops rich caramel sweetness, vanilla, dark fruit, and mature oak through extended aging in charred American oak barrels. The single-barrel approach allows each selection to express its own balance of sweetness, spice, and wood influence. Full-bodied and flavourful, it is well suited to sipping neat or with a few drops of water.

Old Dominick Private Single Barrel Select 8 Year Old Tennesse Straight Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Caramel, vanilla, dark cherry, toasted oak, and brown sugar, with hints of baking spice and dried fruit.

Palate: Rich and robust, with caramel, vanilla, dark fruit, toasted wood, and warm rye spice. The brand was revived by Canale's descendants, Chris and Alex Canale, who opened the modern downtown Memphis distillery in 2017. Old Dominick combines Memphis's historic whiskey heritage with modern distilling methods, producing bourbon and Tennessee whiskey on-site. The distillery emphasizes grain character, charcoal mellowing for its Tennessee whiskey, and careful barrel maturation to develop distinctive American whiskey profiles.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0050/2395/7103/files/4_45be1d87-340e-4021-9c29-a74ac9086820.jpg?v=1792249140
https://caskcartel.com/products/old-dominick-private-single-barrel-select-8-year-old-tennesse-straight-bourbon-whiskey
