A longer whiff conjures up grain, leather and rye notes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003ePalate:\u003c\/b\u003e It has quite the flavor blast of aged vanilla, caramel and a dash of Mr. Goodbar. The bourbon is on the sweet side before the spice from the rye mingles in. The palate has a decent amount of depth to it and is definitely the highlight of this bourbon.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eFinish:\u003c\/b\u003e The alcohol taste immediately hits the roof of your mouth and lingers. Despite it being a full-bodied bourbon, the flavor drops off immediately with little trace that it was even there. Thomas Aquinas Medley first produced bourbon and sold it as a 30 day old spirit. This was a far cry from his aged bourbons of pre-prohibition, but people were ecstatic! Next came a 60 day bourbon.
