Distilled in Dublin from 100% malted barley, the whiskey was initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels before receiving an extended two-year finish in Italian Marsala wine casks. This additional maturation contributes layers of dried fruit, nutty caramel, rich chocolate, and crème brûlée sweetness, balanced by warming spice and toasted oak. Bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration, it showcases Teeling’s experimental approach to Irish single malt whiskey.

Teeling Marsala Cask 16 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Nutty caramel and dried cherries lead, followed by crème brûlée, toasted oak, and hints of chocolate and sweet wine.

Palate: Rich caramel and dried fruit mingle with dark chocolate, burnt sugar, and warming spice.
