San Giuseppe Wines was founded in 1989 by Robert Musorofiti and Frank Gentile. Previously, both men held executive positions with a major U.S. Italian wine importer. Combined, they brought almost forty five years of experience to their new venture. With Bob as the “outside man” and Frank as the “inside man”, San Giuseppe Wines was a typical import business representing brands of French, Italian, Chilean and Spanish wines. Then, after the loss of their largest selling brand to a larger importer, they decided to invent a new type of business and create their own brands of premium wines exclusively from Italy.
