Louis Royer VS Cognac is the youngest of the producer’s portfolio, combining eaux-de-vie from all six growing regions of Cognac, aged in both Tronçais and Limousin oak for a minimum of two years. Louis Royer had already worked for many years as a cellar master for other Cognac houses when he finally decided to start his own company in 1853. He decided to settle in the town of Jarnac, perfectly located by the River Charente, and chose the bee as his emblem - a symbol of hard work and efficiency. Since the beginning, this humble Cognac house has chosen to use grapes from all six crus, never limiting themselves to one style or growing region.
