A bright yellow color, a fine and very fruity nose. We obtain wines with powerful minerality, with almond or leather aromas as we age, with ripe fruit flavors.

• Wine Enthusiast: Notes of ripe, yellow pear on the nose of this wine have a generous overtone of Mirabelle. The palate counters this with bright freshness that lends a juicy and most welccome zestiness to the ripe flavors. A little alcoholic heat at the core hints at the hot sunshine of 2018, but freshness is captured here as well, resonating on the long finish.

Producer Information

The Gueguen family lives in Préhy, about 7 km south-west of Chablis. This winery is young, established in January of 2013 by both Céline and Frédéric whom had preivously been working for larger wine estates in Chablis over the course of 15 years. The Gueguen’s are passionate about conservation and respect towards the environment, aiming to create a wine representative of its terroir. Finally, they love sharing their knowledge and estate with their visitors, and have even set up their own Bed and Breakfast.
