A rush of fresh red and black berries, chocolate mint, cloves and cedar are interwoven with smoked bacon and toast. Generous fruit with supple tannins makes for a moreish mouthful.

Detailed Description
Detailed Description
A wine that's sure to appeal to people who love rich Australian wines and Abba. We imagine there's a big crossover between the two groups. Perhaps someone should do a Venn diagram. This is made from a blend of Shiraz and Cabernet grapes grown in the Fleurieu region of South Australia. A little time in bottle has softened those big Australian flavours into some mellow and delicious.
Reviews:
- Wine Enthusiast: From the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, this Shiraz-Cab blend is ripe and bombastic. It feels older than it is, with tired, raisiny plum and cherry fruit, cedar, earthy spices and dusty, savory oak.
Producer Information
Zonte’s Footstep is a proudly independent Australian wine producer established in 2003. "We take our vineyards and our wine, but not ourselves, too seriously. Our grapes are sourced from our own, as well as our mates’ vineyards, from regions that produce the desired expressive, varietal characteristics of the grapes grounded by the soil they are planted in. Located in the McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek, Adelaide Hills, the Barossa and further afield."
