A brilliant light yellow color. The very pleasant expressive and complex nose opens up with floral and slightly woody notes. The attack is bold and frank, then this wine is full and harmonious on the palate. It has a certain vivaciousness, which gives it good length on the palate and very long-lasting aromas.

• Wine Advocate: Notes of smoky orchard fruit, white flowers and citrus oil introduce the 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Blagny (Maison), a medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping wine that's lively and mineral. This will offer a broad drinking window.

• James Suckling: Such a bright nose with lemon-curd and fresh-pineapple aromas, plus a touch of vanilla oak. Excellent depth and some creaminess on the medium-to full-bodied palate, but the lively acidity really focuses everything, pulling it all together beautifully at the long, dynamic finish.

Founded in 1825, Bourgognes Faiveley has been handed down from father to son for over 175 years. As the sixth generation to take the reins, François Faiveley manages, with equal amounts passion and competence, the largest family domaine in Burgundy. Methodically reconstructing vineyards fractured by French inheritance laws, Bourgognes Faiveley today owns more appellations in their entirety (monopoles) than any other domaine in Burgundy.
