        Producer Information

Beau Vigne is a boutique Napa Valley wine producer known for Cabernet Sauvignon from its Stags Ridge Vineyard on Atlas Peak. The winery was established in 2002 by Napa-based winemaker Ed Snider. Beau Vigne makes limited-production wines from its estate vineyard and sourced fruit from established vineyards in Napa Valley and Sonoma County like Bacigalupi, Dutton Ranch, and Lewelling. The Stags Ridge Vineyard spans less than four hectares (9 acres) and is planted to 3ha (8 acres) of Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest to Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The site, composed of volcanic soils, is located at a high 1650-ft (503m) elevation in the southeast of Napa Valley and overlooks the Pritchard Hill Gap as well as the distinguished Stagecoach Vineyard. Beau Vigne sources fruit from sub-regions in Napa Valley as well as cool-climate AVAs in Sonoma such as Fort Ross-Seaview, Russian River Valley and the Sonoma Coast. Sourced varieties for wine production include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. Beau Vigne produces a total of around 4000 cases annually. The estate wines routinely receive high scores from the likes of Wine Advocate – the winery received its first 100 points for the 2013 Stags Vineyard Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Other wines produced from Stags Ridge Vineyard include the Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Romeo, Juliet, and Cult – all of which are Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant with small percentages of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The winery operates a small tasting room in Yountville. The winery was sold in 2018 to Arizona businessmen Don Dady and Jason Kyle through their Summit Vineyards operation.
