Balcones True Blue Cask Strength Single Barrel Straight Corn Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: Buttered toast, grapefruit pith, overripe banana, fresh cut bell pepper, corn oil, candied pecan, forest floor, cinnamon, sweet oak.

Palate: Oily texture with maple syrup, dried apricot, pralines, cajeta, jasmine, spice, masa.

Finish: Warm and long finish with supple notes of raw honey, coffee cake, and dried chilies.

Distillery Information

A quarter mile from downtown Waco, Texas, in a neighborhood of long abandoned storefronts, is a small, rusted-metal shed hidden beneath the 17th Street Bridge. The one-time welding shop sits in between the overpass' enormous support pillars, next to a white trailer.
