BenRiach 2008 10 Year Old Batch 16 Single Cask #3085 Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Part of BenRiach's highly acclaimed single cask release now in its 16th batch, this Speyside single malt was distilled in May 2008 and matured for 10 years in an Oloroso sherry butt before bottling at 61.4% abv in 2019. Limited to just 634 bottles.

Nose: Baked apricot and walnut cake with buttery vanilla, demerara sugar and ground nutmeg.

Palate: Apricot and bread and butter pudding with burnt raisins and dried fruits.

Finish: Smooth with nutmeg and walnut lingering.

Distillery Information

The BenRiach distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in the Speyside area of Scotland. It is currently owned by Brown-Forman Corporation after being purchased on 1 June 2016 as a subsidiary from the BenRiach Distillery Company Limited, formed by two South African funding partners, Geoff Bell and Wayne Keiswetter, and Scotch whisky expert Billy Walker.
