A splendid addition to Signatory's independent Cask Strength Collection – 21 year old single malt from Benriach! Distilled back in May 2000, the whisky spent 20 years maturing in refill butts, before a final 12 months finishing off in a fresh sherry butt. In August 2021, the cask was opened to release a total outturn of 685 bottles, at cask strength of 59.2% ABV. Just look at the deep ruby hue on this whisky! Cor!

Nose: Sweet, jammy berries, roasty coffee, chocolate raisins, and resinous oak.
Palate: Woody spice continues with the addition of warming ginger and cinnamon, buttery pain aux raisin brings a sweet, fruity balance.
Finish: Roasted nuts and cakey spice, a touch of treacle, crunchy almond butter.
