Chichibu IPA 2017 Tasting Notes
Nose: Initial lemon-like zestiness, upon a quick read, I've got Rose, maybe old dried rose, some hops, malty. With water, aromatic perfume like more prevalent
Palate: strong ABV numbs the palate for a moment, bringing some oiliness, the hop somehow leads to this aromatic rose for me. With water, more sweetness prevails, lesser numbness
Finish: Medium Long, lingering sweet malt and hops, very light rose aroma

Chichibu distillery is a Japanese whisky distillery. Founded in 2004 by Ichiro Akuto, and operational since 2008, it was the first new Japanese distillery since 1973. It is located in Chichibu, a city in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
