This single cask bottling was distilled in 2011 at Craigellachie in Speyside and bottled by renowned indie bottler Hunter Laing & Co. . Matured in a single wine barrel for its full eight years, this expression has been bottled at 46% abv in 2019 producing just 330 bottles. As with all the releases in the First Editions series, this single malt is free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.

Nose: The nose has sweet apple and strawberry notes with a lemon zest edge.
Palate: The palate brings more sweetness with salted caramel, followed by pepper and spices.
Finish: The finish is long with lingering pepper notes.

The Craigellachie distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Aberlour, Banffshire near the village of Craigellachie at the centre of the Speyside whisky producing area of Scotland. The name Craigellachie means 'rocky hill' and refers to the cliff that overlooks the Spey across from The Macallan distillery.
