The much anticipated second release has been created by the marriage of meticulously selected casks, both Sherry (Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso) and Bourbon. This single malt Irish whiskey is a small piece of history, unique and rare. Delicate, dry, with citrus and subtle vanilla notes, can be expected! It dances across the palate and finishes, long and slow, with elegant complexity. Outstanding quality from such an early age of maturation. Extremely limited stocks.
Dingle Distillery Batch No.2 Single Malt Irish Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Slightly floral at first, though soon enough you're greeted by toffee, raisin and peppercorn.
Palate: Chocolate buttons, fresh malt and a touch of red wine.
Finish: Allspice, butterscotch and lemongrass.
Distillery Information
Dingle Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery established in 2012 and billing itself as an 'artisan' distillery. The distillery is located in a converted sawmill in Milltown on the outskirts of Dingle, in a Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking region) in the southwest of Ireland. The first whiskeys distilled and matured at the distillery were released in late 2016. In addition to whiskey, the distillery also produces and markets Dingle vodka and Dingle Gin.
