Hennessy 250 Collector Blend is an expertly assembled merger of 15 to 35 year old eaux-de-vie selected by Master Blender Yann Fillioux. The cognac was aged in barrels at ground level near the banks of the river Charente. The result is a rich and expressive spirit that achieves a harmonious balance between powerfully complex and elegant. Each limited edition bottle comes enclosed in a specially designed gift box featuring a silver map on a copper metallic surface. It’s quite the conversation piece.

Nose: Rich and expressive on the nose, developing complex aromatic tones: bitter orange and freshly grated nutmeg, liquorice, dried peppermint leaf and delicate spices.

Palate: An initial burst on the palate, rounding out to an elegant finish highlighted by a spicy complexity.

Finish: Complex and long finish.

The dynastic Hennessy family has been dominating the Cognac industry for two and a half centuries. In 1765, Richard Hennessy, an Irish officer serving in Louis XV’s army, set out to create the world’s finest cognac. The refined and highly popularized elixir became a thriving export business, shipping as far as Ireland, Britain, and all throughout Europe.
