Single malt French whisky from Maison Benjamin Kuentz. This expression is called Spicy Nouba, and is lightly peated expression that has enjoyed a trio of finishes, in Cognac, vermouth, and ginger brandy casks. The result is a medley of complex spices, fruit, and gentle smoke. Makes for a terrific aperitif.

Nose: Soft smoke, charred peaches and pineapple, with vanilla, and some earthy spices.
Palate: Cereal, silky caramel, oaky vanilla, some scorched lemon and orange, and more gentle smoke.
Finish: Smoke lingers, along with some alpine herbs.
