Rum Plantation Trinidad 2009 is a molasses based rum from Trinidad Distillers Limited. Distilled in column stills, it was first aged for 11 years in Trinidad, in American oak bourbon barrels. Then it went to France, to Javrezac in the Charente region, where it spent another year in 400-liter French oak barrels, where Ferrand cognac was previously stored.
