Wakaze Taru

Launched in 2016, Wakaze is a modern, forward-thinking sake producer based both in Tokyo and Paris. This particular expression has been aged in red wine oak casks from Domaine Jacques-Prieur, in Burgundy.

Wakaze Taru Tasting Notes

Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.

Palate: Notes of cassis, vanilla, toast and a touch of tannins.

Finish: Finish is very smooth and long.

Distillery Information

Takuma is the Founder and CEO of Wakaze sakagura. As a graduate in Science and Engineering from the University of Keio and the Ecole Centrale Paris, he began his career at Boston Consulting Group before launching Wakaze in Japan in 2016.
