                    Producer Information

Pillot's origins date back to the 17th Century in Chassagne, our ancestors worked the vines, wine and above all made barrels there. And it was in the 19th Century that the Pillot family abandoned the cooperage and expanded the property on the slopes of Chassagne-Montrachet. Fernand and his son Laurent, the 4th generation, expanded the estate again in 1992, then in 2001 with the takeover of the Pothier-Rieusset vines in Pommard. Today, we operate 14.8 ha of vines for a total of 22 appellations. The vineyard plots are concentrated mainly in Chassagne-Montrachet and Pommard but also on the terroirs of Santeany, Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Volnay and Beaune. All our wines are vinified and aged in our cellar in Chassagne-Montrachet, reconciling modern facilities, respect for traditions and our centuries-old terroirs. Our vines are worked in agrobiology with great care and the soils cultivated without the use of chemical herbicides. We have been members of the Dephy-ECO-phyto group since 2012.
