Balfour has been producing England's most iconic and exclusive pink fizz, Balfour Brut Rosé, since its award winning 2004 vintage. The family-owned winery uses traditional Champagne grape varieties and methods in the production of its sparkling wines and also leads the way in still wine production. Our vineyards were established in 2002 and are predominantly planted with Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Bacchus although more recently, plantings of more unusual varieties like Pinot Blanc have been added. All our grapes are handpicked by our vineyard team and blended in our state-of-the-art Winery to produce wines with a distinct ‘house style’ of elegance and purity, showcasing a soft mousse with a fruit-forward approach and a refreshing, lively acidity.
