The estate was named “Clos des Quatre Vents” at the beginning of the 21st century. Located on a hillock which exposes it to the four winds, offering us a panorama similar to an absolutely unique ocean of vines. From the property, we can see the bed of the Garonne and the famous Château Margaux. Previously the property was known as “Château Arnaud Blanc”, a former vat house built in 1840. It belonged to the owners of Château Malescot-Saint-Exupéry and produced 200 barrels. In the 1893 edition of the work by Cocks and Féret, we learn that the owners of Malescot “have replaced the meadows with a superb vineyard of 45 hectares whose vat room and cellar are worthy of attention. The wine produced there is delicate and fragrant. » In 2008, the renowned Belgian “Thienpont” family bought the estate and created the wines you know. Fine, delicate and gourmet wines. The Thienpont family breathes new life into the property by offering these five vintages which will determine its character. In 2014, a group of Chinese investors bought the estate, Liaoning Sifang Manor Wine International Trading Co. Also owner of more than 500 hectares of vines in northern China whose wine, Wu Nu Shan Milan Wine is very famous. Since 2014, the property has been part of the Independent Winegrowers. this quality label ensures total autonomy regarding the quality of its wines while respecting the environment and its soil.
