        Reviews:

        • James Suckling: Produced from old vines, this wine is just moving towards maturity. Perfumed from wood aging, rich in structure that is softening into the blackberry fruits, the wine is impressively shaped with its tannins and vibrant aftertaste.

          Producer Information

Over 2000 years of Cahors malbec history are connected to the history of Chateau Chambert. One can trace a portion of its history back to the 10th century by looking through the archives. The Chateau Chambert has been owned by many and has gone through a lot of historical moments. The vineyards covered 300 hectares of land in the 10th century but now it covers about 65 hectares and is owned by Philippe Lejeune. A VIP reception/tasting area, a biodynamic research lab, and a professional kitchen are now part of a new, modern structure suspended over the vineyard.
