Producer Information
At the beginning of the 90s, Osvaldo Viberti decided to take over the management of the farm that his grandparents Assunta and Tistin had created with great sacrifice, leaving it as an inheritance to their son Gino. An old photo shows the three generations intent on crushing the fine grapes in the small cellar located in the Borgata Serra dei Turchi. Today Osvaldo dedicates himself constantly to the management of the farm together with Carla and his young sons Anna and Paolo, restoring the strong passion that has united, over the years, each generation belonging to his own family. The hectares of vineyards on the farm are about ten, most of which are devoted to the Nebbiolo da Barolo grape (about 4.30) to the Barbera grape variety (about 3), to the Langhe Nebbiolo grape variety (about 0.70) to the Dolcetto grape variety (about 1) and the Nascetta grape variety (about 1). The advice of the oenologist Sergio Molino confirms Osvaldo's philosophy based on the belief that to create excellent wines many ingredients are needed: the climate, the composition of the soil, the geographical position of the vineyard, the scrupulous work aimed at the perfect ripening of the fruits, the constant care of the vines, the careful selection of the best bunches, the meticulous workings in the cellar and finally, but certainly not least, a great passion for quality wine.
