Producer Information

The Chavy family has lived in Puligny-Montrachet for more than two centuries but producing wine under their label only since 1986, when Gérard Chavy began bottling under his own domaine. When Gérard retired he passed on his holdings to his two sons. They split the holdings and decided to go their separate ways. Jean-Louis finds the perfect balance of applying traditional and organic vineyard practices while welcoming new technology in the cellar. His wine style emphasizes fruit purity and minerality with rich, opulent texture. They are classic Puligny-Montrachet wines made in a classic style showing elegance, grace and longevity.
