Each of the participating distilleries have hand-selected a special expression available only on-site, and only as part of the Bardstown Collection. Of course, it’s not just the quantity of producers that makes Bardstown special, but also the quality. The attention to detail, level of craftsmanship, and most importantly, superlative flavor profiles are why we say that Bourbon Comes From Bardstown.

Nose Cherry syrup, caramel, a light woody note. There’s also a faint nuttiness to this. Might be mixing that up with the light woody note, but there is something that makes me think of almonds.

Palate There’s a slight sweetness of a blend of vanilla and cherry, and a young oak that pops at tail end of the flavor profile. This has a very soft mouthfeel.

Finish This has a fantastic finish! There’s a nice cherry vanilla that lingers accompanied by a charred oak and a slight leatheriness.

Distillery Information

The founders — Peter Loftin, David Mandell, Daniel Linde, and Garnett Black — began the Bardstown, Ky., operation with the idea of offering a “destination experience” for bourbon lovers and building a custom distilling program that now creates over 50 unique mash bills for more than 30 spirits brands in the industry.
