The spirit was aged for between 10 and 30 years before it was bottled in May of 2012 to celebrate the brand`s 100th anniversary. A spicy Armagnac, with rich notes of dried fruits and a hint of umami.

Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.

Palate: Balanced and rich flavors.

Finish: Great elegance and length on the finish.

Distillery Information

Tariquet was purchased in 1912 by the Artuad family. Before setting their sights on the picturesque property the family had travelled and lived in America, although originally hailed from the village of Ercé, at the foot of the Pyrenees, in Ariège. Their profession, far from brandy producers, was of bear trainers.
