A Gordon & MacPhail Rare Old bottling of the very infrequently-seen Convalmore. This distillery was closed by Diageo in 1990 and later sold to Wm Grants, who currently use the buildings for storage only.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: The initial rush of peat and wood smoke is followed by a gentle sweetness with hints of spice.

Finish: Long and dry with gentle warm spice.

Convalmore Distillery was built in 1893, by a group of Glasgow businessmen under the name Convalmore-Glenlivet Distillery Co.
