An impressive 23-year-old rum from Columbia, distilled at Dictador and selected by master blender Hernan Parra. The rum spent its full maturation in an American oak cask bringing notes of vanilla and banana to the dark fruit and spice at its core.

Nose Cherry drops, strawberry laces, liquorice powder, blackcurrant juice and some notes of fig leaves.
Palate The blackcurrant note takes charge, backed with allspice, lemon zest and some herbaceous note of thyme and rosemary.
Finish Banana with some orange zest and creamy vanilla notes.
Distillery Information
The rum is named after Severo Arango y Ferro, nicknamed "El Dictador", who in the 1700s oversaw trade between Spain and the colonies. At the end of the 18th century Severo Arango y Ferro came to Cartagena de Indias in Nueva Granada (today's Colombia).
