Distilled at Glen Moray in 2007, this single malt spent the next 15 years maturing, beginning in first fill bourbon barrels, followed by a generous four-and-a-half-year finish in a selection of second-fill Port pipes.

Nose: Delicate and impressive depth on the nose.

Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.

Distillery Information

Glen Moray was built on the site of the West Brewery to the west of Elgin on the banks of the River Lossie. Following reconstruction, Glen Moray Distillery was founded in 1897. It was not long before the distillery closed in 1910, though it reopened a couple of years later, shortly before closing once more.
