The youngest release from Batch 16 is single cask #1979, an 11 year old Highland single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 2006 and matured in a PX sherry puncheon. 679 bottles filled at 57.2% vol and released as part of this special batch of single casks.

Nose: PX sherry and cedarwood with chocolate orange, cinnamon and baked plum.
Palate: Nutmeg, toffee and clementines with a velvety cocoa undercurrent.
Finish: Cranberry, hazelnut and raisin lingering.
