Nose: Warm caramel, honey wheat bread, vanilla bean, toasted marshmallow, and oak spice with hints of cinnamon and brown butter.

Palate: Full-bodied and creamy with butterscotch, baked sugar, cinnamon, toasted oak, soft pepper heat, and layered caramel sweetness.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering vanilla cream, oak spice, toasted sugar, and gentle wheat softness.

Distillery Information

Larceny is produced by Heaven Hill Distillery and takes inspiration from the historical story of John E. Fitzgerald, the treasury agent associated with the legendary “Fitzgerald barrels” that eventually inspired the Old Fitzgerald bourbon line. Unlike traditional bourbons that rely heavily on rye for spice, Larceny uses wheat as the secondary grain, creating a smoother and more approachable texture. The Barrel Proof series expanded the brand into enthusiast territory by presenting the whiskey at natural cask strength without dilution or chill filtration. Batch B526 follows Heaven Hill’s established three-release annual cadence, with the “B” designation marking the May 2026 release in the lineup.
