In the 19th century, rum was a Marseille specialty. Ferroni rum has brought this vanished tradition back to life. “Ambre Noir” is a blend of old rums selected by Guillaume Ferroni.

Nose: Aromas of rose, vanilla and woody notes.

Palate: Frank attack on caramel and wood. Floral notes are then brought by Muscat, which gives it a certain roundness and depth.

Finish: Perfect, long lasting finish.

"Maison Ferroni 's roots go back to Marseille at the end of the 18th century, when the Phocaean city, along with Bordeaux and Le Havre, was one of the main ports of arrival for colonial goods. Among these exotic products was, of course, rum, which many merchants made popular at the time."
